Harman Chahal is a general dental practitioner currently working in a NHS and private practice. His NHS practice is in an area of heavy social deprivation area of Birmingham in the UK. As such he has first hand experience of the oral health of disadvantaged children. Harman graduated from Bristol Dental School in 2006, first working as a general dental practitioner in Scotland and then in his current position in Birmingham. He is the current chair of the Young Dentists Committee of the British Dental Association which looks after the interests of young dentists in the UK. He also is an officer within the local branch of the British Dental Association which works to bring about good local provision of dental care to patients.
