Dr Neil Croucher

Dr Croucher has worked as a public health/community dentist since qualifying at Guy’s Hospital Dental School, London in 1986. For 16 years he worked as a ‘special needs’ dentist in the south of England. After emigrating to New Zealand in 2003 he took up the role of Clinical Director of Dental Services – Northland District Health Board (NDHB), where he continues to oversee the quality of clinical services delivered by the area's primary and secondary care oral health services. He also fulfils the role of Oral Health Advisor to NDHB. In 2007 Dr Croucher was elected vice-president of the New Zealand School and Community Dental Services Society and was elected President for the 2008 and 2009 years. In 2010 he was elected as a Fellow of the International College of Dentists and is currently Chairperson of the New Zealand Oral Health Clinical Leadership Network group.
