Regina Leichner is currently the Director of Africa Programs for MCW (Miracle Corners of the World) Global. Based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, she oversees a portfolio of development projects across Rwanda, Tanzania and Zambia.  Working with local teams and Boards of Directors, Regina is responsible for building institutional capacity of MCW’s affiliate organizations, as well as program development and strategy in MCW’s two core programs in Africa: Community Development and Oral Health Care.

Prior to joining MCW, Regina worked on a wide array of community development and social justice initiatives, including with the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (UNICTR), the African Union Courts on Human and Peoples Rights, Work for Progress and Vital Voices Global Partnership.

A certified project manager, Regina received a B.A. in International Studies with a focus in Globalization, Development and Human Rights from Arcadia University in 2012. Originally from the Philadelphia area, she has spent the majority of her professional career in East Africa.
