The need for coordinated, continent-wide dental health networks for Africa and the Pacific was established during discussion with delegates  at our sixth Senior Dental Leaders meeting in London in 2012.

In collaboration with these SDL alumni and local partners in African and Asia-Pacific countries, we are bringing together and helping direct the efforts of dental and general healthcare professionals, NGO’s, academics, therapists and clinicians.

The overaching aim of the networks is to achieve significant improvements in the standards of local oral health care, particularly for disadvantaged children and children in remote areas where dental resource are most scarce.
